(e) Short-Term Incentive Compensation Plan This current report on Form 8-K/A updates information provided on a Form 8-K, dated January 26, 2009, in which Sprint Nextel Corporation (the "Company") reported that the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company established the performance objectives and other terms of the Company's 2009 Short-Term Incentive Plan for officers and other eligible employees of the Company (the "2009 STI Plan"). On August 3, 2009, the Compensation Committee changed the following specified performance metrics of the 2009 STI Plan for the second half of the year: adjusted OIBDA (operating income before depreciation and amortization) is now weighted at 30%; and post-paid net additions is now weighted at 40%.
