(São Paulo, Brazil – August 26, 2009) Telecomunicações de São Paulo S.A. – TELESP (NYSE: TSP; BOVESPA: TLPP) in accordance to CVM’s Instruction 358, of January 03, 2002, publicly announces that the Company was notified today, through the Official Letter# 1272/2009, that the Director Council of Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) released the Decision# 5.903/2009-CD, which enabled the sales of the Multimedia Communication Service, offered as “Serviço Speedy”.
Following this, Telesp announces that will reestablish Serviço Speedy sales as of August 27, 2009.
