Net sales of the Company increased by $1,925,000, or 17%, for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2005 compared to the fiscal year ended October 31, 2004, and gross profit increased by $498,000 to $6,185,000 in 2005 from $5,687,000 in 2004. However, net income decreased by $779,000 to $445,000, compared to net income of $1,224,000 in fiscal 2004 due in part to one-time additional Sarbanes-Oxley Act implementation costs of approximately $400,000 and a one-time compensation expense of $551,000 as a result of the purchase and retirement of 100,000 outstanding options owned by the Company's Chief Executive Officer.
