China Southern Airlines Company Limited (the “Company”) published an announcement on September 29, 2011 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s website at: http://www.hkexnews.hk/listedco/listconews/sehk/20110929/LTN20110929146.pdf with respect to the proposals of the Company's board of directors (the "Board") for the appointment of Mr. Yuan Xin An as the non-executive director of the Sixth Session of the Board, Mr. Liu Chang Le as the independent non-executive director of the Sixth Session of the Board and the amendment of the remuneration of independent non-executive directors as set out in the "Administrative Measures on Remuneration of Directors". The above mentioned proposals will be submitted to shareholders for approval at the forthcoming general meeting of the Company.
