INTRODUCTION OF THE GROUP 2004 COMPANY HISTORY - Mar. 2004 Shinhan Bank sold out 29,873,359 common shares (Common Shares) or 10.15% of Shinhan Financial Group through the block trading. - Apr. 2004 Terminated the joint venture in the credit information business and bought back Lone Star's 49% ownership in Shinhan Credit Information. - Jun. 2004 Small-scale share swap with Chohung Bank completed Chohung Bank became our wholly owned subsidiary. - Sep. 2004 Decided to acquire the minority common and preferred shares of Good Morning Shinhan Securities by the end of December 2004 through the small-scale share swap and tender offer. - Dec. 2004 Small-scale share swap with Good Morning Shinhan Securities completed.
