              G. WILLI-FOOD EXTENDS TENDER OFFER FOR ACQUISITION OF
                               GOLD FROST SHARES

YAVNE, ISRAEL - MARCH 5, 2009 - G. WILLI-FOOD INTERNATIONAL LTD. (NASDAQ: WILC)
("G. WILLI FOOD"), announces that it has extended its previously announced
tender offer to purchase from the holders of shares and/or depositary interests
of Gold Frost Ltd. ("GOLD FROST") all of the issued and outstanding share
capital of Gold Frost not already held by G. Willi Food for a price of 5 pence
per share or per depositary interest in cash. The tender offer, which was
originally scheduled to expire at 3:00 p.m., London time, on March 5, 2009, has
been extended to 3:00 p.m., London time, on April 2, 2009 (the "OFFER PERIOD").
All other terms and conditions of the tender offer remain in effect, including
the condition that the number of shares and depositary interests duly tendered
constitute, upon expiration of the Offer Period and together with the shares
held by G. Willi Food at such time, more than 95 per cent of the issued and
outstanding share capital of Gold Frost. The terms and conditions of the tender
offer are set forth in the tender offer document dated, 5 February 2009.
