Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
Distributed Energy Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: DESC) announced today that John Glidden, its vice president of finance, will be leaving the company on Friday, July 21, 2006, to become chief financial officer of the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. The company also said that it is in the process of recruiting a senior executive from outside Distributed Energy to become its chief financial officer.
