The Exhibit 99.1 to the Original Form 8-K was not the final Press Release and did not include certain additional information regarding the potential 2006 synthetic fuel impact which was included in the Press Release issued by TECO Energy, Inc. on October 27, 2006. This Current Report on Form 8-K/A includes as Exhibit 99.1 the final Press Release issued by TECO Energy, Inc. on October 27, 2006.
