Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 19, 2010, Apogee Enterprises, Inc. announced that it had purchased 100 percent of the stock of Brazil-based Glassec Vidros de Segurança Ltda., which fabricates architectural glass for the non-residential building market in Brazil, for approximately $22 million in cash, plus the assumption of approximately $2 million in debt.
