On June 24, 2013, Intermec, Inc. (Intermec) announced that Intermec and Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell) are continuing to work diligently to receive regulatory approval from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for Honeywells acquisition of Intermec (the Merger). The parties remain committed to closing the Merger, with the goal of completing the transaction as soon as possible in third quarter 2013.
The Merger did receive unconditional clearance from the European Commission on June 14, 2013.
