On April 24, 2019, First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company ("FCB") and First South Bancorp, Inc. ("First South Bancorp") issued a joint press release regarding the approval by First South Bancorp's shareholders and status of the proposed merger of Spartanburg, SC-based First South Bancorp and its bank subsidiary, First South Bank, into FCB.
A copy of the joint press release issued by FCB and First South Bancorp is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report.
