Navistar  International  Corporation (the "Registrant")  today announced the company will be presenting an overview of
the business next week at the Deutsche Bank Basic Industries Conference in New York.

Mark  Schwetschenau,  Navistar vice president and controller,  is scheduled to present at 11:30a.m.  Eastern  Standard

Navistar  International  Corporation (NYSE: NAV) is the parent company of International  Truck and Engine Corporation,
