Item 2.02 — Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On November 8, 2007,
Barr Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release
announcing results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. A copy of the press release is
being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by
reference. The information furnished in this Item 2.02 and in Exhibit 99.1 below shall not be

The Company
will host a Conference Call at 8:30 AM Eastern time on Thursday, November 8, 2007
to discuss earnings results for the quarter and nine-month period ended September 30, 2007. The
