Item 12. Results of Operations and Financial Condition

     On October 9, 2003, Claire’s Stores, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing same store sales for the five weeks ended October 4, 2003 and year-to-date same stores sales, and raised guidance for the third quarter of Fiscal 2004. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
