Leveraging Backbase's out-of-the-box modules like Identity Management, Access Control, and Core Banking Integrations, Arugula has implemented real-time onboarding flows, role-based identity provisioning, and deployment automation to support seamless mobile banking releases across Android and iOS platforms.

Previously, Balkishan held senior roles at global financial giants including ABSA Bank and Standard Bank in South Africa, where he was responsible for delivering mission-critical APIs, implementing Spring-based middleware, and spearheading DevOps transformations.

In addition to his architectural contributions, Arugula holds certifications from AWS, Oracle, and Microsoft, and brings deep expertise in DevSecOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS), and observability stacks using DataDog, ELK, and Grafana.
