Uberoi brings over 13 years of providing legal guidance to leading tech companies for industry-specific compliance, data privacy concerns, and business transactions. “At Argyle, we are dedicated to delivering groundbreaking innovation in fintech,” said Shmulik Fishman, CEO and founder of Argyle. “We need a strong and experienced leadership team to do so, and I’m thrilled to extend our executive bench with Sid joining as our first in-house general counsel. His deep understanding of the legal intricacies associated with emerging technology domains will accelerate Argyle’s ability to transform the status quo.”

Prior to Argyle, Uberoi was General Counsel of Yodlee, the industry-founding fintech company and financial data aggregator for large institutions, where he drove the company's GDPR, CCPA, and global open banking initiatives, putting consumers in control of their data. During his tenure at GoDaddy, Uberoi was part of the company’s reinvention as an acquisitive technology player during GoDaddy’s transition into a public entity. Additionally, Uberoi served as the Director of Legal and Business Affairs for advertising conglomerate Interpublic Group’s (IPG) innovative ad tech division, Cadreon, during the zenith of industry scrutiny by governments, which ultimately led to the AdChoices self-regulation program, giving consumers control over their data. At Oracle, Uberoi led the team that worked on complex and high-value commercial contracts with the U.S. government.

“It’s an amazing time to become part of the Argyle team as the company embarks on its hypergrowth stage. My experience in open banking, enabling consumers to gain access to their financial data, was the perfect precursor to the work here of helping people gain access to their employment data—and all the benefits it provides,” said Uberoi. “Giving the growing population of underbanked and non-traditional W2 workers even more financial freedom through Argyle’s innovations is such an exciting and rewarding opportunity. I look forward to supporting our mission to make a meaningful impact on society.”
