Sealy & Company Builds Upon Successful Joint Venture Partnership with IDV and Acquires 14.8 Acres for Development in East Houston

The Park 225 Development Will Be the Fourth in a Series of JV Developments Between the Partners

Sealy & Company, a fully-integrated commercial real estate investment and operating company and recognized leader in the industrial real estate market, announces the acquisition of a 14.8 acres site in Houston, Texas, with joint venture partner Investment & Development Ventures, LLC (IDV). The land parcel, located in Park 225, will be home to a 267,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art industrial facility to be developed by the pair with a Q4 2022 expected delivery date.

Located at 4113 Greenshadow Drive in the Southeast Houston submarket, the property and future building benefit from direct access to the Sam Houston Parkway and the Pasadena Freeway. The Southeast Houston submarket is home to the Houston Ship Channel and the Port of Houston, the largest port on the Gulf of Mexico and the #1 U.S. port in total foreign and domestic waterborne tonnage. Park 225 will offer tenant(s) flexibility in size, configuration, and ample trailer and auto parking.

The Park 225 Development marks the fourth development between joint venture partners Sealy & Company and IDV. The partners have previously teamed up to develop over 924,000 square feet of industrial property at Thompson 10 Logistics Center and Park 505 in the Houston, TX market. Also currently under development is the 192,000 square-foot cross-dock distribution property OKC Airport Industrial located in Oklahoma City, OK.
