Pack & Inspect Group’s Mettler Toledo Safeline dual-energy X-ray systems offer clients enhanced detection of softer contaminants - such as rubber, plastic, rocks, and stones - in applications with greater product variability. The models can handle a wide range of applications involving products in various formats and with differing compositions, viscosity levels, and textures. These include packaged and unpackaged products, pumped meats, slurries, pastes, sauces, aerosols, and blister packs, among others.

The machines’ advanced inspection technology accommodates these variations and helps maintain consistent product quality and appearance. They can accurately detect foreign materials in products, ensuring only safe, contaminant-free products reach consumers. They can also provide detailed product imaging, allowing staff to inspect products for defects or irregularities.

The X34 series and the highly configurable, high-performing X36 series both offer a comprehensive range of detection capabilities for metal, glass, rocks, stones, calcified bone, dense rubber, and plastic. The X34 series also provides additional inspection checks for product quality and integrity, while the X36 series provides mass measurement, object checking, and closure presence and integrity.

The X37 series is capable of high-speed processing of taller and rigid containers at speeds of over 1,000 per minute. It offers a full suite of X-ray capabilities, as well as an array of features and options in an exceptionally intuitive user interface.

All Mettler Toledo Safeline X-ray systems come with the support of Mettler Toledo’s national network of field service technicians, their iPac support paradigm, and a 5-year X-ray generator warranty.

“We represent the premier brands in the industry,” a Pack & Inspect Group representative said. “With representatives in Northern Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska, we provide expertise to help you determine the technology and product that best satisfy your needs.”
