-- Canada Rail Vacations, a booking partner for VIA Rail, has announced their 2025 and 2026 schedule for eastbound and westbound train tours aboard the iconic ‘The Canadian’. Their Prestige Class combines nostalgia and luxury—offering guests a premier experience in mid-century dining cars, private sleeper cabins, and glass-domed observation cars.

The Prestige Class includes five days and four nights aboard The Canadian, priority boarding, gourmet meals and bar service, reserved seating in the park, panorama, and dining car, access to business lounge, and a personal concierge.

Currently, Canada Rail Vacations offers several trips with the Prestige Class upgrade:
- The Canadian Trip of a Lifetime: a 16-day journey which starts aboard the Rocky Mountaineer—with stays in Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper—and continues on The Canadian, through the expansive Prairies. This tour is available both eastbound and westbound.
- The Canadian Adventurer: a 12-day rail adventure which also starts aboard the Rocky Mountaineer and transfers to The Canadian, concluding with a visit to Niagara Falls. This trip is also available in both directions.
- The Canadian Rockies Express: an 11-day trip that starts with an overnight stay in Toronto before guests board The Canadian for a journey through lush forest landscapes and the breathtaking Rockies. Available both eastbound and westbound, this tour includes overnight stays in Jasper, Banff, and Calgary.
- The Rockies Nostalgic: a 7-day journey which is available only eastbound and starts aboard The Canadian with an overnight stay in Vancouver before setting off across the stunning Canadian Rockies.
