-- In an effort to support brides-to-be during one of the most transformative periods of their lives, Wellness Counseling has announced the launch of Blossoming Together: Building Strong Relationships Before Saying “I Do”, a free virtual workshop series designed to help women cultivate the relationship skills necessary for a strong and healthy marriage. The workshops begin April 8 and run for four consecutive Tuesdays, offering a safe, supportive, and insightful space for future brides to invest in their emotional and relational well-being.

With weddings often centered around planning the perfect event, this initiative shifts the focus to what truly lasts—the relationship itself. The workshops aim to equip participants with practical tools for effective communication, conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and healthy boundary-setting. These core skills, often overlooked during the whirlwind of wedding planning, are key to nurturing connection and fostering long-term marital satisfaction.

The series is facilitated by experienced mental health professionals Taylor Cobb, LPC, and Breann Polidore, LSW. Both bring a compassionate, culturally aware approach to mental health and relationship education. Through live virtual sessions, Cobb and Polidore will guide attendees through evidence-based strategies and interactive exercises designed to promote personal insight and relational growth. The workshops are open to women at any stage of engagement, whether newly betrothed or already deep into wedding preparations.

Each session in the Blossoming Together series will take place on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM Eastern Time, beginning April 8 and continuing weekly on April 15, 22, and 29. The format blends structured learning with open discussion, encouraging a community atmosphere where participants can share experiences, ask questions, and gain perspective in a judgment-free environment. Topics covered include identifying personal values and expectations, navigating difficult conversations with care, and maintaining individuality within a partnership.

Wellness Counseling, known for its commitment to accessible mental health services, developed this program in response to a growing demand for preventative support in relationships. As more individuals seek to enter marriage with intention and emotional clarity, the need for guidance in building strong relational foundations has become increasingly apparent. By offering these workshops at no cost, Wellness Counseling aims to remove barriers and ensure that support is available to anyone who wishes to invest in their future partnership.

While the workshops are specifically tailored for women preparing for marriage, the content is inclusive and applicable to a range of relationship dynamics and cultural backgrounds. The goal is to empower participants with skills that not only strengthen romantic relationships but also enhance communication and resilience in other areas of life.

Registration is now open through Wellness Counseling’s website and social media platforms. Space is limited to foster an interactive experience, and early sign-up is encouraged. All sessions will be held via a secure online platform, making it easy for participants to join from the comfort of their homes, regardless of location.

In launching Blossoming Together: Building Strong Relationships Before Saying “I Do”, Wellness Counseling continues its mission to promote mental wellness, deepen human connection, and encourage proactive emotional care. This innovative workshop series offers brides-to-be a chance to pause, reflect, and step into marriage with greater confidence and intention.
