Velocity Global's new chief product officer Liz Li

Velocity Global, the leading provider of global talent solutions to work with anyone, anywhere, announced today it welcomed Liz Li as chief product officer. In this newly created role, Li will lead Velocity Global’s product and design organization, where she is responsible for defining the company’s product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with the chief technology officer and the technology team.

“This is an exciting phase of Velocity Global’s growth, and we’ve actively been adding talent at the most senior level to take our technology and solutions to the next level,” said Ben Wright, founder and CEO of Velocity Global. “I am thrilled Liz is joining us. Adding a world-class product leader to our C-suite is a strategic move for us as we further strengthen our market-leading position and our impact on customers and talent alike.”

Liz applies in-depth experience in connecting talent with opportunity from her nearly 12 years at LinkedIn, where she led and worked on a number of core initiatives focusing on monetization, growth, and the consumer experience. While at LinkedIn, she led the launch of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, now a billion-dollar business, and owned acquisition and retention for LinkedIn Premium Subscriptions, significantly growing that business. Li also previously worked at Accenture and is currently a limited partner with First Row Partners.

“I’m a mission-driven person at heart, and I believe that Velocity Global’s solution will play a big role in creating equity and opportunity among a global workforce, all while solving real business needs for our customers around the world,” said Li. “I’m also looking forward to building and growing a new team as I love developing and coaching individuals into high-performing teams that deliver amazing products and outsize impact.”
