Adobe seen posting profit, sales gains

Adobe Systems Inc. is expected to report sharp gains in profit and sales when it posts fiscal first-quarter results after the market’s close on Tuesday, as the design software maker seeks to rebound from a trying period that saw lackluster demand for its flagship product and layoffs.
