By: PRLog

New team members Ron Lawson and Celeste Cordoni join RCM Ag Services as Director Commercial Cotton and Director Trading and Operations, respectively.

CHICAGO - Aug. 14, 2020 - PRLog -- A recent merger between SFO Commodities and RCM Ag Services expands a growing team of dedicated market specialists available in the suite of RCM Ag's offerings. Ron Lawson and Celeste Cordoni are two of the world's foremost cotton experts bringing a combined 58 years of experience in strategic and tactical macro-economic guidance to major participants in the world's cotton markets. The addition of SFO allows RCM Ag to expand its current cotton operations to a broader offering covering both local cotton growers and large-scale commercial operations.

"Joining RCM Ag Services will allow additional economies of scale to build out the next generation of commercially focused producer, merchant, and end user tools for both our existing clients, as well as the fresh customers we'll be servicing in this new venture," says Ron Lawson. "In combination with our educational content, our partnership will aid in forming the next generation of commodity market participants."

Ron and Celeste have more than four decades of vertical integration in worldwide agribusiness, from feedlots and furrows in the field, to the Futures trading pits of Wall Street and beyond, and have developed a unique understanding of both agricultural business, and the business of agriculture. In addition to Ron and Celeste, this merger also brings access to research from partners Peter Egli and Bill O'Neill via Logic Advisors. Logic Advisors is widely read and shared research on global commodity markets for banks, hedge funds, commodity companies, and large speculative traders.

"Adding Ron and Celeste as Commercial Cotton experts is a huge win for RCM's farmer direct customers and advisors who will now have expanded coverage for both their cash and forward sale marketing," says Jeff Eizenberg, Managing Director or RCM Ag Services. "Our team has seen tremendous growth since the beginning of the year and expanding our cotton team through the expertise of the SFO team is another example of the growth you can continue expecting to see in the future."

Ron and Celeste will be based out of Sonoma, California.
