Tampa, St. Pete mayors want local agency to take the lead with hyperloop rather than the state

“As a group, if we push this off to the state, it’s not going to happen and it is something I would really like to see— a connection between Tampa and St. Petersburg," Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said.
