On December 19, 2008, Tier Technologies, Inc., or Tier, announced it will hold its 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on March 11, 2009 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time at Tier's headquarters located at 10780 Parkridge Boulevard, Suite 400, Reston,VA 20191.  Stockholders of record at the close of business on January 16, 2009 are entitled to notice of, to attend and to vote at the annual meeting.
