On June 12, 2006, Oscient Pharmaceuticals Corporation issued a press release announcing that William R. Mattson, Jr. was elected to Oscient’s board of directors at its annual shareholders meeting held on June 8, 2006 and, in addition, that David Stone, Robert Hennessey, Pamela Kirby, Gary Patou, Steve Rauscher, William Reardon, Norbert Reidel and John Voris were re-elected to its board of directors.
