Tokyo, April 16, 2009 — Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT / TSE:6501) commented on news articles that reported business integration relating to Renesas Technology Corp., Hitachi’s equity-method affiliate. These articles weren’t based on Hitachi’s decision or disclosure.
