On December 18, 2012, Ross J. Kari, Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer of Freddie Mac (formally known as the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation) informed Freddie Mac of his intent to retire in the second half of 2013 following his 55th birthday. Kari has committed to stay with Freddie Mac until after a successor is appointed and a smooth transition has taken place. A copy of the press release related to the announcement is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
