Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On January 8, 2015, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) announced its goals and guidance for 2015 and its plans for the advancement and commercialization of its RNAi therapeutics pipeline through 2020. The Company also updated its cash guidance for the year ended December 31, 2014, stating that it now expects to end 2014 with approximately $880.0 million in cash. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
