Springfield, Missouri Jan 12, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - The Clarion Awards, presented each year by the Association for Women in Communications (AWC), is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of honoring excellence in the communications industry. Founded in 1909 as Theta Sigma Phi, AWC is proud to present one of the oldest and most prestigious awards programs in the country.
Since 1973, the AWC Clarion Awards have recognized the work of the nation's best communicators. The competition is open to all professionals, regardless of gender or AWC membership. This includes editors, writers, photographers, designers, bloggers, marketing and social media specialists, radio and television producers, and many more.
Past winners include such large prominent organizations as Oprah Magazine, WGBH, Voice of America, and Cherokee Nation as well as small organizations and individuals; among them church newsletter volunteers, fundraising event planners, and social media content makers.
The Clarion Awards entry period opens on January 12. Entering your work in more than 100 categories is as easy as visiting the Clarion Awards entry website. By taking advantage of the March 7 early bird deadline, individuals and organizations receive an entry fee discount and then can take more time to complete their final submission by the April 10 deadline.
Clarion winners and finalists will be announced in July 2023.
