Skin Renewal Systems has opened Spa Renew, a dedicated wellness center offering massage therapy, acupuncture, Q2 Energy Spa treatments, and Quest 9 Biofeedback sessions at its 1000 North Collier Boulevard location. The addition expands the 27-year-old salon and spa operation into alternative wellness services, a category that has seen increased consumer interest across Southwest Florida in recent years.
The expansion follows what owner Liz Havens describes as a notable shift in client inquiries over the past several years.
"We tracked a 40 percent increase in clients asking about services beyond traditional salon and spa treatments," said Havens. "Massage therapy and acupuncture were the most requested additions. Opening Spa Renew allows us to meet that demand without referring clients elsewhere."
Skin Renewal Systems has operated on Marco Island since October 1997, serving both year-round residents and seasonal visitors to the area. The business employs approximately 30 professionals and maintains state licensing across cosmetology, esthetics, and massage therapy disciplines. Practitioners providing acupuncture services hold credentials required under Florida regulations for that specialty.
Spa Renew occupies dedicated space within the existing facility and operates during regular business hours. Licensed massage therapists offer multiple modalities addressing muscle tension, stress, and physical discomfort. Sessions range from relaxation-focused treatments to therapeutic applications. The Q2 Energy Spa and Quest 9 Biofeedback services utilize technology-based approaches to relaxation and stress management, representing newer additions to the wellness services available in the Marco Island market.
The wellness services operate alongside the existing salon and spa divisions rather than replacing them. According to Havens, the goal was to add capacity without disrupting established operations that clients have utilized for nearly three decades.
Hair salon operations continue at the facility, providing haircuts for women and men, coloring services including balayage, highlights, ombre, and single-process applications, and treatment services such as keratin applications and deep conditioning. The hair care team includes stylists and colorists with training in current techniques. The salon also offers AnteAGE hair restoration services for clients addressing hair thinning concerns, as well as styling packages for weddings and formal events. Bridal parties may book multiple appointments with advance scheduling.
Nail services remain available in private suites within the facility. The service menu includes manicures, pedicures, gel nail applications, acrylic services, and nail art. Technicians follow sanitation protocols consistent with state requirements for nail service establishments.
The facial and spa division continues to provide treatment options including customized facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, advanced skin therapies, and waxing services. Estheticians hold Florida licensure and conduct consultations prior to treatment to assess skin type and determine appropriate protocols. The spa also offers CryoOne Selene treatments, which utilize cold therapy technology, and permanent makeup services for eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color.
The facility location on North Collier Boulevard serves clients from Marco Island and surrounding Southwest Florida communities including Naples, Bonita Springs, and other areas within Collier County. Parking is available on site for clients traveling from outside the immediate area.
Appointment scheduling accommodates both advance bookings and walk-in clients when same-day availability permits.
