ACS Offers Simple, Affordable Convenience with New Unlimited Voice and Data Plans

Alaska Communications Systems (NASDAQ:ALSK) today announced new unlimited nationwide monthly service plans to pair with unlimited text and data plans on Alaska’s largest and most dependable 3G network.

The company aims to keep pace with voice plan streamlining recently established by the national carrier that competes in the Alaska market, while providing best value for wireless data services.

Beginning Jan. 20, customers may sign up for a new Nationwide Unlimited* voice plan that allows customers to call anyone in the United States and Canada for $69.99 per month.

Nationwide Family plans will also have new unlimited options. Nationwide Unlimited Family voice plans will be $119.99 per month. All Family plan pricing includes the first two lines of service; additional lines may be added for $49.99 (up to five lines).

ACS has also revamped its wireless data offerings to firmly position itself as a value leader in the rapidly expanding market for wireless data services. Individuals may add Unlimited Global Text for just $6 monthly access; The Works, which includes Unlimited Global Text, unlimited picture messaging and Internet with access to thousands of applications for $15; or the Unlimited Nationwide Data plan to include unlimited smartphone data and text, picture and video messaging for just $40 per month.

Families may add Unlimited Global Text for $20 monthly access (up to five lines) or The Works for $29 per month. Families may add the Unlimited Nationwide Data plan for $40 monthly access per line.
