Sitnasuak Native Corporation Selects Alaska Communications for Data Hosting and Hosted Applications Services

Alaska Communications (NASDAQ: ALSK) is pleased to announce that it has signed a new, three-year strategic agreement with Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC), an Alaska Native Village Corporation operating eight subsidiaries nationwide, to provide data hosting and hosted applications services.

SNC operates multiple locations in Alaska, the Lower 48 and Puerto Rico with annual revenues of $211 million. Under the terms of the agreement, Alaska Communications will provide a variety of hosted server and application services from its Hillsboro, Ore. facilities, streamlining SNC’s nationwide Information Technology (IT) needs.
