Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. (“ACS”) (NASDAQ:ALSK) today announced the Friday, June 8th Grand Opening of its new retail store located on the second floor of the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall.
“The new store design focuses entirely on the customer experience,” said Bill Bishop, director of retail sales and service. “Customers will enjoy the store’s innovative style and interactive layout while testing the latest wireless devices, high-speed wireless broadband, DISH TV and the low-cost, easy to install, Internet phone service – goVocalTM. We have listened to customer feedback and have incorporated new design elements to enhance the retail experience beyond anything customers have ever seen in an Alaskan telecom store.”
The official ACS retail outlet Grand Opening begins Friday, June 8th and runs through Friday, June 16th. To celebrate the store’s opening, a selection of free phones, $25 RAZR phones, and free Bluetooth headsets will be available to those converting to ACS’ best-in-class wireless network. The store will be heavily staffed to accommodate those switching their wireless numbers from other providers. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
