Alaska Communications Names Randy M. Ritter Senior Vice President Managed Services

Alaska Communications (NASDAQ:ALSK), Alaska’s leading broadband solutions company, today announced that Randy M. Ritter, a senior telecommunications executive, will join its management team as senior vice president, managed services.

Ritter will lead Alaska Communications’ growth in managed services for the business market segment. He brings to the company more than 20 years telecommunications experience and previously served in leadership roles at Sprint, One Communications and MacroSolve, Inc.

Alaska Communications’ managed services will include managed local and wide-area network services, managed security, managed computing infrastructure, managed end-user devices, professional services, managed application availability and select software-as-a-service capabilities.
