Alaska Communications Systems Announces Further Wireless Expansion in Anchorage

This brings our year-to-date expansion of CDMA towers in Anchorage to ten, said Anand Vadapalli, senior vice president for network and IT. Our investment in the Anchorage bowl, and throughout Alaska, exemplifies that ACS is dedicated to delivering the most reliable wireless network for voice and data services throughout Alaska.

The recently launched ACS CDMA cell sites in Anchorage area provide enhanced voice and data coverage in the following areas:

  • West 7th Avenue and E Street
  • Ship Creek at Post Rd
  • Girdwood at Alyeska Resort
