Commonwealth Motors participates in #Spoontember to raise awareness for local communities.
LAWRENCE, Mass. - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- This September, the orange spoon is the central icon for Hunger Action MonthTM.

SpoontemberTM, is a social media activation to engage the public and help raise awareness of the 1 in 7 Americans struggling with hunger. Spoontember supporters can share a ‘spoon selfie’ – an image of themselves balancing a spoon on their nose – along with hunger-related statistics and challenge a friend to do the same.

Hunger exists in every county in the U.S., affecting 49 million Americans, including 16 million children. The Feeding America network believes that hunger is solvable and we’re leading the fight to end it. You can help by mobilizing your community. We all have a role to play in getting food to our neighbors in need.

The Commonwealth Motors team is proud to support Hunger Awareness! We heartily support this movement and we encourage other local busniesses to raise hunger awareness in our local area. We are donating $1000 to help the Cor Unum Meal Center of Lawrence in their efforts to keep our neighbors families fed. Join the #Spoontember movement today!
