PANAJI, India - Jan. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- W.O.A Entertainment kicks off the 8th Annual WOA International Music Festival in association with Vh1, taking place in Goa from the 29th of January to 6th of February 2016. This is the event that brings together Independent Music's breakthrough artists from around the world to Goa — the International Music Capital of India. Few can come close to the scale of the Annual W.O.A International Music Festival, featuring multi genre international bands performing across the best live music venues in the region.
Headlining this year’s festival and tour is Chart-topping and Platinum Selling MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee Oliver Sean, performing along with his commercially successful Oliver Sean Band. Also on stage this year will be American Indie Rock Queen 'Emyna,' who has had several chart busting singles, worldwide featured music videos and previously opened for stars like Chaka Khan. Accompanying the tour will be a host of other talented musicians and bands from Australia and Goa.
Once again, the festival is supported by mega media partners Vh1 India who have shown unwavering support for this event over the last 8 years. We are equally proud to welcome new tour partners ‘Azzure' (Tour Host) and 'Pinto Rosario Square' (Tour Resort and Spa) for the 8th WOA International Music Festival — Goa 2016. This one of a kind music event, organised by W.O.A International and put together by the Wanda Alvares headed global events division, Aubergine Event Solutions, is fundamental in promoting International Independent Music in the region.
Performances this year will take place across a host of WOA music venue partners, including Soro (Badem, Goa), Saturday Night Market (Arpora, Goa), Koi (Baga, Goa), CLM (Chapora, Goa), Antares (Vagator, Goa), with additional special appearances by the artists at various locations in India for the duration of the tour.
