Alaska Communications (NASDAQ: ALSK) recently became the first in Alaska to earn Silver Cloud Productivity Competency from Microsoft, improving its ability to meet the evolving needs of Alaska businesses.
The competency gives Alaska Communications, the state’s leading broadband and IT solutions provider, greater access to Microsoft’s world-class data centers, security and support.
“The Silver Cloud Productivity Competency will further allow us to help customers take advantage of Microsoft’s cloud solutions,” Alaska Communications Vice President of Managed Services Chris Reaburn said. “We don’t just do installations and leave; we work with businesses to help them overcome challenges and realize the potential of those products. With Microsoft’s increased support, we can do that even more effectively.”
To achieve the competency, Alaska Communications was required to demonstrate its expertise by passing comprehensive tests and earning positive customer references.
“This competency reflects Alaska Communications’ deep knowledge of Microsoft’s products and services,” Reaburn said. “But it also represents our dedication to connecting Alaska businesses to the cloud. We are committed to being the state’s most reliable and qualified provider for cloud solutions.”
