Drive Shack Inc. (NYSE:DS) (“Drive Shack” or the “Company”), a leading owner and operator of golf-related leisure and entertainment businesses, announced today that Sara Yakin is stepping down as Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Yakin, who joined the Company as COO in 2016, will be transitioning from Drive Shack to take a position within a Fortress company cofounded by Wesley R. Edens, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Drive Shack Inc.
"Sara has been a valuable part of the Drive Shack team and played an instrumental role in opening our first venue in Orlando,” said Drive Shack Chief Executive Officer Ken May. “Her contributions and efforts on behalf of the Company are deeply appreciated and we wish her all the best in her new role with Fortress.”
Mr. May will assume leadership of all operations until the Company identifies a new Chief Operating Officer.
