Grocery Outlet, a rapidly expanding grocer in Southern California, is due to open its Chatsworth store on March 25th. Grocery outlet joins Planet Fitness, Popeye's, Jack in the Box, Starbucks, Teriyaki Madness, and Everytable at The Gateway at Lassen. The center is also complemented by a 124-room Marriott Residence inn, currently under construction and due to open Q1, 2022. The Marriott hotel is being developed by Excel Hotel Group based in San Diego, California. HRI Development embarked upon an exhaustive entitlement and construction process in 2016 to accomplish the completion of The Gateway at Lassen. The project is a welcomed improvement at the intersection of Lassen and Mason, the site of the first Safeway Supermarket in the San Fernando Valley dating back to 1955.
