Kochi, Kerala Apr 26, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - On Saturday 25th April 2021 Chettur Sankaran Nair (CSN)Foundation for Historical Research and Cultural Studies in collaboration with NSS College Ottapalam organized a national webinar to pay tribute to Sir Shri Chettur Sankaran Nair on his 87th death anniversary. The webinar witnessed the presence of many dignitaries from different sectors including students. it was inaugurated by Shri T K A Nair, IAS, Former Secretary to two prime ministers of India ( IK Gujaral and Atal Bihari Vajpayee). In his inaugural address, he said that Sir Shri Chettur Sankaran Nair always emphasized social-economic development.
Dr. G Gopa Kumar former vice-chancellor central university of Kerala in his presidential address mentioned his contribution to the education sector and social reform which was instrumental in overall social development. The Commemoration lecture was presented by Prof. S. Rakshekhranan Nair Secretary to CSN Foundation. G . Sunilkumar, Head of the Department of History, NSS College Ottapalam gave the welcome address. The webinar was hosted by journalist Tara Chettur. The webinar was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Nimisha. Prayer was performed by Chinu PR .
As a part of this series, the CSN Foundation is also going to organize an online paper presentation by Dr. Amruth G Kumar, Head of Department of Education, the Central University of Kerala on the topic ' Chettur Sankaran Nair and Modern Indian education on April 27.
