Tesla
Summary List PlacementMost people know Tesla for its sleek and luxury electric cars and its eccentric CEO Elon Musk, but some may not know the electric vehicles are equipped with a plethora of features that you wouldn't find in any other vehicle.
From sentry mode to dog mode and even "caraoke." Here are twenty-two features that put Teslas in a league of their own.
1. AutopilotYouTube/TeslaAll Tesla models are equipped with an autopilot advanced driver assistance system.
Newer Tesla models have "8 external cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors and a powerful onboard computer provide an additional layer of safety," Tesla's website says. Autopilot is meant to be used by drivers who are alert and have their hands on the wheel."
Currently enabled features do not make the vehicle autonomous," Tesla says, despite the name.
2. CaraokeSpike
In the 10.0 software update, Tesla's got a new "caraoke '' function which allows Tesla owners to choose from a vast selection of music and song lyrics.
The music selection also features music in different languages. But don't get the idea that you'll be able to sing caraoke while driving, in order for this feature to work, you have to be parked.
3. Bioweapon defense modeYouTube/PremiumMoto TV
Tesla's Model X and Model Y are equipped with a serious HEPA filtration system that filters toxic chemicals from getting into the cabin of the car.
"Inspired by the air filtration systems used in hospitals, clean rooms, and the space industry, we developed a HEPA filtration system capable of stripping the outside air of pollen, bacteria, and pollution," Tesla says.
4. TouchscreenReuters
All Tesla models feature a unique touchscreen that comes with an array of features including video games and live traffic updates. The screens are also home to standard features like climate control and navigation but look nothing like anything else on the market.

The high-tech touch screen also allows you to stream your favorite shows from inside your Tesla. But, like the caraoke feature, you have to be parked for this feature to work.
