In conjunction with National Tequila Day on July 24th, the park will start offering the 'Margarita Tequila Shot Cupcake' concoction that is exclusively baked for Island H2O Water Park and available for purchase at the park's Apps & Eats through the 2021 season.
The Margarita flavored cupcake and frosting is topped with a 1.75 ounce Siempre Tequila shot and sold for $10.
Jillian Hopke is an award-winning baker and owner of Jillycakes in Orlando and was Food Network's Cupcake Wars' Champion in Season 6.
"As a venue with unique attractions and experiences, we're excited to debut this one-of-a-kind treat option by Chef Hopke," stated Jim Kunau, General Manager of Island H2O Water Park.
Island H2O Water Park was recently named the No. 6 Best Outdoor Water Park on USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice 2021. The park features a lazy river, wave pool, adults only pool, area for kids, family interactive zone, body slides, mat racers, tube slide and raft rides for the whole family. The park is designed to enable guests to customize their experience by selecting music and lighting on a number of rides using a state-of-the-art RFID wristband system. Guests can also earn points to redeem for food and merchandise in the park.
