Bond market has `muted’ response to Federal Reserve decision, which is being read as dovish

Bond traders barely react as Fed officials pencil in a sooner-than -expected rate hike for 2022 and send a strong signal that they are almost ready to taper their bond-buying. The lack of a formal taper announcement, and fewer-than-expected number of officials calling for a hike next year, were read by investors as dovish.
