From Children’s Books to NFTs

PumpEQ, a company that’s teaching children how to handle big emotions through their picture books, is set to release its debut NFT project on Solana blockchain with 12.500 unique NFT’s at the end of October 2021.
Continuing the course for growth, PumpEQ is one of the first book collections to join the Metaverse with a mission to increase the emotional intelligence (EQ) of 1m children worldwide.
Through this project, they raise awareness that children with a robust foundation in social-emotional skills are better equipped to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Moreover, these skills are beneficial not only academically and professionally but also socially.
“We created PumpEQ Hippos NFTs with the idea of creating an amazing community in the metaverse to contribute to our mission to make Social Emotional Learning more accessible for kids, parents, and teachers.” said Liviu, the author and founder of PumpEQ.
“We have launched 6 books, and we plan to publish 21 more, in 3 series with the help of the community. All the profits from the next 21 books will be converted to SOL and distributed among all NFT account holders. So more NFTs owned means more shares to get.”
A great benefit of being part of the community is the possibility of participating in the project by voting the upcoming steps for future books and initiatives.
The most significant goal objective for the company is to allocate 1000 SOL (according to CoinMarketCap, the latest Solana price is 159$) to create and promote the most comprehensive Social Emotional Learn course that will be distributed free for parents and teachers.
PumpEQ was founded in January 2020 by two book authors: Liviu Ciulinaru and Alis Mirea, in Bucharest, Romania. The illustrator is Katarina Jelic, a graphic designer of Slovak origin. The picture books that are already bestsellers on Amazon help children between 2 and 8 years old to better understand Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).
