In celebration of Thanksgiving, AEG partnered with U.S. Vets in the greater Los Angeles area to host 200 U.S. military veterans and their families for a free Thanksgiving dinner at The Novo at L.A. LIVE on Nov. 25. The event marked the ninth year that AEG employees welcomed and served meals to members of the community at L.A. LIVE on the Thanksgiving holiday.
“We are proud that we were able to provide military veterans with a warm meal on Thanksgiving,” said Mark Girton, SVP of Special Events, AEG Presents. “One of our core values at AEG is giving back to the community, which is why this Thanksgiving event is so important to us each year.”
The Thanksgiving celebration was part of AEG’s annual Season of Giving, an initiative that encourages the company’s employees throughout the world to engage in charitable activities with local nonprofit organizations.
In addition to partnering with U.S. Vets, the Thanksgiving celebration also welcomed guests and families from Salvation Army Red Shield Center and St. Francis Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
