Former Tuft and Needle CEO is building a startup with Valley roots and big potential

Piet Jan de Bruin left Tuft and Needle in 2020 and he's since teamed up with a software engineer from Uber to build a data infrastructure company called Iomete. The company has some early traction, including $800,000 in outside funding and admission to the latest cohort of Y-Combinator, the famed startup accelerator.
