Anaerobic Digestion & Organic Waste Depackaging Networking Event Twister May’22

Shrewsbury,United Kingdom - May 4, 2022 /PressCable/

Business owners in organic waste processing from food processors to anaerobic digestion plant operators, looking for the latest information on Twister food waste depackaging and separation equipment, can register to meet during the UK’s first visit by Marie-Philippe Benoit, Drycake (Canada) Sales Manager, when meetings are available and scheduled for 9 to 20 May (London/South) and 23 to 27 May 2022 (Manchester/North).

IPPTS Associates is collaborating with Drycake for the UK depackaging equipment fact-finding event during which one-to-one meetings are offered at convenient locations to be mutually agreed upon by contacting Marie via email at mb@drycake.com.

Marie will be holding the meetings in collaboration with organics processing advisor Steve Last, Principal of IPPTS Associates, to discover specific cases which illustrate the application of UK regulatory requirements for End-of-Waste classifications, PAS110 compliance requirements, and the criteria set by energy recovery facility operators for SRF/RDF purity, etc.

The event provides an opportunity for all UK organisations involved in food waste minimisation and processing to:

– Find out about the Drycake range of innovative depackaging and separation products now launched in the UK. While also networking and discussing specific UK industry debagging and separation machinery requirements to comply with the output of recyclable outputs-with-value from unavoidable food waste

– Help assist Drycake in configuring their Twister range of products to serve the UK market

– Marie is particularly interested in meeting local authority officers seeking depackaging equipment in order to comply with the extension of separate food waste collection of household food waste by 2023 and in helping them meet this ambitious target set by the government for England.

They provide depackaging and separation process solutions that can assist businesses to:

– lower the cost of organic pre- and post-digester treatment by reducing the amount of energy consumed, for example by the reprocessing plant at MRFs and ERFs

– save on organic waste disposal costs

– raise any company’s green credentials by pre-processing in-house generated organic waste into an output of anaerobic-digestion-ready organic pulp as biomass for renewable power production, plus recyclable plastic/rejects

– produce clean rejects for onward recyclate sales as valuable products

– promote the circular economy which is seen as essential for the planet to limit climate change in accordance with agreements made at COP26: Glasgow.

When asked about the reasons behind creating this event, the host of the event, which is free and available for all interested industry professionals (who contact Marie, agree on a time and venue, and book), said:

“We want to make it easy for the UK waste management industry to discover our new generation of innovative low impact organic waste depackaging equipment. They really are different from competitor offerings, having been designed from the ground up for organic/ food industry waste/ OFMSW and curbside collected source-separated kitchen waste. Twister depackaging machines are third-generation machines and lead the competition in efficiency, reliability and the purity of the separated output streams. They go further than ever before to reduce the cost to businesses of their organic waste disposal while also producing an organic output ideally suited as an anaerobic digestion process feedstock.”

If you are reading this from outside the UK, or after the event date, Drycake will continue to offer one-to-one meetings online via the same contact points.
