ORLANDO, Fla. - April 24, 2023 - PRLog -- HAPBWA Foundation, a non-profit sister organization of the Hispanic American Professional & Business Women's Association (HAPBWA), made history on April 21st by partnering up with the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council. The event took place during the Swearing-In of the Board of Directors for 2023-2027, held at the Girl Scouts of Citrus headquarters in Orlando, Florida. HAPBWA Foundation has been serving Hispanic American professionals and businesswomen since its establishment in 2010 when founder Eva Pagan Hill, who was one of the women who helped found the association in 1997 and during her tenure as president of the association decided to start the foundation. This year, the foundation is launching new branding designed by Stand Out Consulting, Marketing & Events (http://www.standoutpros.com/), a new website, and other initiatives to further support and encourage the development of youth, women, and marginalized communities by promoting their leadership skills, personal growth, and professional advancement. As part of its celebration, the foundation is teaming up with the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council (https://www.citrus-gs.org/) to support their mission and give an example to younger generations to come. "We are excited to celebrate our new board of directors and our new president, Deisamar De Soto-Torres, as we launch our new branding and website," said Eva Pagán Hill, original Founder and past president of HAPBWA's Association and Foundation and current Board Member of the Foundation. "We are also thrilled to support the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, which does incredible work empowering young women."

HAPBWA Foundation also expressed gratitude towards the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council by sponsoring five girls and their materials to become Girl Scouts for one year. "We believe in the Girl Scouts' mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, and we are proud to support their efforts," added De Soto-Torres.

The event featured speakers such as Nina Wilson from the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, (https://www.citrus-gs.org/) Zoraida Velasco, Mayra Ramos Miro, and both past and new presidents of HAPBWA FOUNDATION (http://www.hapbwafoundation.org/) as well as the Honorable Judge Tralina Nunez-Navarro. The program included lunch and networking opportunities and was sponsored by The Girl Scouts of Citrus, Dr. G and Kidsville Pediatrics (https://kidsvillepediatrics.com/), CenterWell (https://www.centerwellprimarycare.com/en.html), CPA Gustavo Torres (https://cpatorres.com/), La Prensa (https://laprensafl.com/), and Haciendo Negocios Media (http://www.haciendonegociosmedia.com/).
